Billie Tarzwell

Billie Tarzwell, age 93, passed away at the Brook Retirement Community on August 27 , 2026. She was born on Jan. 23, 1933 to Fern and William Stock. She married the love her life, Bob Tarzwell, on Sept. 26, 1953. They had three sons, Randy (Sherri), Rodney (Renea), and Scott. Billie also has four grandchildren, Steve (Andrea) Tarzwell, Sara (Nathan) Mastie, Nic (Lauren) Tarzwell, and Andrea (Justin) Katt. Billie also has six great-grandchildren, Grace and Kyle Mastie, Coleman and Briggs Tarzwell, and Lincoln and Ellie Katt. Billie is preceded in death by her husband Bob and her two sisters, June Pike and Jean Smith.

Billie was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church, serving in many roles over the years. She loved volunteering at the BAC. Quilting was a passion of Billie’s . She went on numerous quilting trips and gifted her family and friends with her beautiful work.

Billie had a way of making people feel cared for and welcomed. Her gentle spirit, strength, and generous heart touched the lives of family, friends, and many others throughout the community. The memories she created and the love she gave will remain with those who were fortunate enough to know her and she will be deeply missed.

Though she is no longer with us, Billie’s love and the example she gave will continue to live on thru her family and in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully, forever loved and remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
