Allan Lee Nearing, 69, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on July 9, 2023. He was born on November 8, 1953 in Gladwin, the son of Wayne and Luella (Marrs) Nearing. He worked for Butman Township along with several other factory jobs over the years. He spent 32 years with his life partner Mary Jo Hillman sharing many memories together until she preceded him death in 2020. Allan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He also enjoyed playing softball and golf.
Left to cherish his memory is his son: Jeremy (Keri) of Gladwin; grandchildren: Luella May Nearing; 3 sisters: Diane Stoneburner, Debbie Skaggs, Julie Palka; and father: Wayne Nearing.
Preceded in death is his mother: Luella.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
