Melvin D. Powers, 57, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was born on June 11, 1959, the son of Frank & Parry (Thorington) Powers in Gladwin, Michigan. Melvin has lived in Gladwin County for most of his life. He is survived by his brothers: Frank (Linda) Powers of St. Louis, Michigan; Robert Powers; several cousins, nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Larry. Cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time. His final resting place will be at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
