Sherry L. Marko, 69, of Alger, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. She was born on April 7, 1947, the daughter of Charles & Alice (Willson) Carter in Saginaw, Michigan. In May of 1968, she was united in marriage to Joseph Marko in Saginaw. He predeceased her in 2011. She was a homemaker, living in Gladwin County for the past 12 years, previously residing in Flint, Michigan. Sherry was a member of the FOE Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292 Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. Left to cherish her memory is her sons: Brent Marko of Ortonville, Michigan; Jason Marko of Pennsylvania; grandson: Zachary; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joseph; sisters: Sally & Mary. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place.
