Gordon C. Yoesting

Gordon C. Yoesting, 75, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, June 3, 2016. He was born in Gladwin on June 4, 1940, the son of Calvin Yoesting & Florence (Willford) Yoesting-Adams. Gordon was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by General Motors at the Fisher Body, Coldwater Plant, in Flint, Michigan, as a tool & die, machine set-up and forklift driver. Gordon was a proud member of F.O.E. Flint Aerie 629, a Charter member and Duel member of F.O.E. Secord Lake Aerie 4121, member of the Gladwin Moose 287, and a life member of the NRA. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 24 years: Brenda Yoesting of Gladwin; 2 sons: David and Bruce Yoesting; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; step daughters: Sandra Barrett and Cheryl Taylor. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Joannie Bunke of Gladwin; Margaret Lennon of Gladwin; and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his son: Gordon Yoesting Jr; parents; brothers: Jack Yoesting; Al Puhar. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Thursday, June 9, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
