Lois Jean Vandevrede

Lois Jean VanDevrede, 75, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at the Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born on May 9, 1940, the daughter of James & Velva (Blades) Cornell. She had lived in Gladwin County for the last 14 years, previously residing in Wisconsin. Her memory will be cherished by her son: Mark VanDevrede of Green Lake, Wisconsin; daughter: Tyan VanDevrede of Boyceville, Wisconsin; son: James (Melissa) VanDevrede of Menomonie, Wisconsin; 4 grandchildren: Sara, Courtney, Joseph and Amber. She is also survived by her sisters: Melody Reid; Nancy Klassen both of Gladwin and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Joyce Geasler; Ann Muma; 4 brothers: Frank, George, Bobby and Larry Cornell. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Martin Hodge on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Beaverton Church of the Nazarene.
